Eagle Valley Food Pantry

Eagle Valley E. Free Church near Christine, North Dakota now has a permanent food pantry location within its walls. The church's office administrator, Stacy Almendarez, explained that the food pantry is a way the church seeks to serve the local community. Eagle Valley also offers free delivery to anyone living in the area of the church.

The Eagle Valley Food Pantry opened in March of 2020 in partnership with Great Plains Food Bank. In June 2021, the church’s food pantry switched to a “client choice model” meaning that it’s “set up like a store,” Almendarez said. The amount of food is determined by the clients, they can pick whatever they need. She explained that the pantry is open to anyone who needs it, there are no income guidelines or qualifications.

The food pantry is open the third Sunday of each month from 1-3 p.m. and the third Monday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and anytime by appointment.

For more information or to set up an appointment, contact Eagle Valley at 701-998-2067 or by email at eaglevalleychurch@gmail.com.
